1928 TX Passenger #143-564

EDITED PHOTOS. Plates were too long to scan, so we scanned them in two parts and pieced photos back together.

These plates originally had severe rust, and some minor pits still show after repainting. Nice plates overall, just not perfect. Will register easily and look good on all but the very best show cars.

1932 TX Passenger #N24-834

Lettering enamel is thin on the N and the "A" of TEXAS on one plate. A few VERY minor rust pits. Second plate has some VERY minor pitting that is hard to see up close. Metal on both is very solid.

1933 TX Passenger #41-952

An early-issue pair. These were NOS with only very minor surface rust when we got them. These have small "dimples" in the numbers - apparently from metal shavings on the stamping dies. The metal was very solid. One plate was not perfectly straight and has a small spot of orange lettering enamel beside "1933".

A few very minor dents show if you look close, but would not be seen on a car. Metal is very solid.

Plate originally had deep rust pits. Most filled pretty well, but some still show if you look closely. They do not detract from plate's overall appearance at a short distance.

One plate has a light crease between the 2 and 5. A few small dents show on close inspection if turned against light, but would look fine on vehicle. Metal on the second plate is straight overall.

Good solid metal, but light rust pits show if examined closely. Will still look nice on vehicle. 1945 was one of only two years that Texas issued a single license plate. This plate is suitable for registration of a 1945 vehicle.

Late-issue 1933’s. Plates were NOS when we got them, but had bad paint from damp storage. Metal is excellent. Numerals show a slight waviness from something being on dies when they were stamped.
